Now, let's go to our World Dog Show trip ahead of time. We came to the World Dog
journey. Before we joined the World dog
show, Dalbong competed first in some of
INFORMATIVE the biggest dog shows in Asia. First is the
Philippine Circuit Dog Show 2023, and he
got BEST IN SHOW under FCI president,
the honourable Mr. Tammas Jakel. He
also won BIS in Thailand's biggest dog
show this year, the Thailand Impact Dog
Show, under Ms. Keito Fujihata from Japan.
Because of those wins, it gave us the confidence
to join the world dog show.. We planned this

Show well-prepared. Why? I'm Asian, and I live
on the other side of the world. We traveled for
almost 24 hours, so I ensured we would do our
best for this competition. I prayed a lot. Before
the show, I thought it was impossible to win in
this competition... imagine competing with 130
usual practice, I trusted Dalbong and did my
best as the handler. And finally! The show is
corgis. There were so many entries! But like our
over! WE WON BEST OF BREED, and we got
the WORLD WINNER TITLE!!!! The judge at that
time was Mr. Jose Homem De Mello.
Did you know? Dalbong is the first World
Winner Dog from our country. He brings so
much pride to the Philippines. After winning the
World Dog show, we received much recognition
from our country. We made it to the headline
news. We appeared on television for various
media interviews. Dalbong instantly became a
celebrity! Hahaha. And we are so happy for him.
But did you know that every time I think about
these significant victories, there are moments
when I talk to him about what he needs to do
in the show to become a better show dog, even
though I know he doesn't understand me? But
I can read it in his eyes whenever I look at him.
All of this, all of these successes, from minor to
large ones. This wouldn't be possible without
my love for the breed. I met Dalbong because
I love this breed. And because of that, I will
always take care of and protect the preservation
of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. My plan for the
future is to have another DALBONG. Maybe my
next world winner?
