It is impossible to mention every line in this
Breed history article and of those who are currently active and

owned it. Yvonne’s Ir Ch Rhiwelli Out of the Blue
has sired two CC winners for the Bymil Kennel.
Other well known and successful kennels over
many years are Margaret Aynscough’s Sanjas
and Sheena Stalker’s Kincrofts. Other kennels
that it is to be hoped will continue keeping
the breed going in the right direction include
Bwthyn, Caprian, Cardhew, Kalwig, Keebleway,
Kilvroch,Tyci, Waterdeep and Wildcard.
As we move on from 2020 until 2023 the
Covid times were to affect both breeding and

showing the world over. There were no shows
for a long period and when they did start again
Ch Belroyd Pemcader Cymro (photo) who beat it meant that some puppies born just before or
his sire to become top stud in 2012 and won during Covid never made it into a puppy class
again in 2013,14,16 17 & 18. and some older dogs on the cusp of gaining a
Champions title never achieved that award. We
The next two to put their mark on the breed lost some breeders, notably Kevin Dover who
were Ch’s Joseter Mr Blobby and litter brother sadly passed away. As mentioned previously
Mr Parkinson sons of Cymro and Ch Joseter Kevin bringing Music Man over from Australia
Popham. Blobby has been a consistent group changed so much and probably reinvigorated
winner in recent years and was Top dog in breed the breed in the UK at a time when it needed it.
