AN INTERVIEW WITH A BREEDER Which dog do you consider to be the
foundation of your kennel?
Our homebred boy "Tama" ( MBIS. MBLBIS.
INT. Ch. VN. Ch. GCH. TH. CHP. Ch.
Wealthycor Gudetama) is the key to my
breeding. He is producing quality puppies
with good genes and genetics and
passing on the structure and movement
to our puppies.
Tama is one of the iconic of WEALTHYCOR.
In SEA or ASIA, TAMA is the face and brand
name of WEALTHYCOR. He comes from one of
our successful breedings.
What is the best example of the breed that
you have bred so far and why?
Many great dogs can become icons of the breed;
one is "CH. Heartsong Brynlea Pavarotti",
the greatest tri-colour from the USA. I think
he is perfect, an excellent type, with perfect
expression and body length; it's everyone's
dream to own a dog like him. The name and
bloodline speak for themselves.
What improvements do you want to make
to the breed with your dogs and breeding
program?
We try to improve clearly from the disease of

that we must do when we plan for the future,
but at the same time, we must strive to keep the
correct type and confirmation.
Do you health test your dogs? If so, please tell
us what you screen them for.
Of course! Health testing is essential; we must
veterinarian to ensure they are healthy.

What do you think makes an ideal corgi for
the show? Does that change for breeding?
The dog show world is a game; breeding is
different. For sure, when you started to show, it
was clear that if you wanted to compete and have
a chance of winning- you should send the best
Corgi who has perfect structure and movement
to have a chance of placing or winning.
But sometimes, the best show dog is not a part
of the breeding plan in the breeding program
because breeding is like an improvement from
old to new. It is fixing something that could be
better from one to one.
If breeding was easy, like 1+1 = 2, everyone
would be a great breeder. But in reality, it is not
like that. A breeder should know which one of
his dogs can pass on the best part to achieve the
type you want. If the best show dog becomes
the foundation, you still have some luck in your
breeding program.

Yes!! In the start of 2023, we have started to
