between the Sony which I started with, but when
I wanted to move up/ upgrade, the Canon was
the best choice which was for me as a beginner
photographer and I am loyal to the Canon brand
to this day.

What is the best part of being a photographer?
I love meeting new people, horses and places,
and photography fulfills that. I often get on my
bike, with a camera in my backpack, ride maybe
50 km and on the way I meet horse pens, where
I stop and take photos. Their owners are always
happy to receive my pictures, which I then
provide them free of charge.

Where do you find inspiration?
The biggest inspiration for me are the horses
themselves, I love their movement, beauty and
intelligence.

How do you get the animals to stay and "pose"
for you? Do you consider it to be a challenging
job?
Sometimes it's easy and it's all over in two
minutes. But sometimes it can take a long time.
The time until the right second appears, when
the horse has the right legs and looks nice. It
is always important to have a feeling for the
moment. I'm glad that I often see through the
lens what others don't even notice and I can
record it.
