Which horse do you consider the foundation
of your stable?
I have two different stallions that deserve the
distinction of foundation status. As I mentioned
above, Brewers Orion Mystic became my
significant broodmare sire. He sired many world
champions and also held the title of AMHA Top 10
Lifetime Leading Futurity Sire for many years. My
next big challenge to find a magnificant refined
stallion to cross on his stunning daughters.
(Shipped semen and artificial insemination was
not approved at this time). I was fortunate to
find this beautiful black Arabian style 30 inch
stallion, Sierra Dawn Unos Monarch, World
Champion Junior Stallion and World Champion
Monarch Senior Stallion and now holds the title of AMHA

winning offspring($41,000 to date.) At the time
as a two year old he was not for sale so I was
able to contract 10 breedings over 3 years. The
offspring proved to be outstanding show horses
and were in high demand. When Monarch won
his AMHA World Champion Senior Stallion title
at 5 years old, I called his owner, Jane Taylor
to ask if she would consider selling him to me.
To my delight, she agreed. Later than night
Jane had two more offers, the last one was for
double the asking price. I was always thankful
that Jane was a very ethical person and honored
our verbal phone agreement. The rest is history.
What is the best example of the breed you
have bred so far and why?
So many of my horses were exemplary and
have been sold all over the world, but my
pride and joy today is my 31 inch 2020 World
Grand Champion Senior Stallion and World
Mystic Champion Single Pleasure Driving Futurity
winner, Scott Creek Indi Cast In Chrome.
