Your passion for animals began in 2006, when
‘Telva’, a Labrador Retriever, arrived at your
home. Please tell us when and how you became
interested in Aussies?
Really Telva was my first dog, but when I was
young, we always had dogs at home. Telva was a
Labrador Retriever, after Telva, we owned Maggie
a Golden Retriever, I was very happy with them
both and they were very easy to live with. Then
one day when browsing through Facebook I saw
a dog and instantly I fell in love with him, he was
a blue merle Australian Shepherd boy with a tail,
his name was Lucky. From that moment I began
to look for information about the breed, and I can
assure you that I am very meticulous.
The more I learned about the breed, the more
Name: Sonsoles Hevia, De La Noval I liked it, and I decided I would like to breed
Country: Spain and show. Then came the time to look for
Website: www.delanoval.com information about breeders, bloodlines, health,
and conformation. When I worked out what I
was wanting, I found the right breeder, and then
my first Aussie was purchased; she came from
Hungary, from the kennel Silver Dream Aussie’s,
she was a blue merle female, and her name was
Silver Dream Aussie’s Wild Rose, aka ARENA, she
arrived at home in 2010, and that the beginning
of my journey in the world dog as a breeder and
exhibitor. Arena introduced me to this crazy but
blessed adventure. I am pleased to say, Arena is
still with me today, nearly 13 years old, and still
giving me all her love day by day, I hope she stays
that way for a long time.
Once Arena came home and we saw her character

and conformation, I began my search for a male
that would allow me to breed that Aussie that
we all have in our mind. It was a leisurely search
and we evaluated many different bloodlines, then
Marlon turned up, GOLD RUSH OF CRYSTAL
LAKE, as soon as I saw him, I knew it was what
I needed. I organised everything and planned to
go to the Crystal Lake kennel in France, to go and
see and evaluate the puppy in the flesh to see if he
was what I needed. The moment I saw him I knew
he had to be mine.
My first litter was born in 2014 and since then I
have tried to capture my philosophy in every one of
them: health, character, and beauty (in this order).
