Birthday Bones
This dog treat recipe is perfect if you’ve got some
fun cookie cutters on hand. And since its peanut
butter based it’s pretty much guaranteed to be
a hit with your dog. I have yet to meet a dog
who doesn’t go bonkers for peanut butter. For
this recipe, you’ll need 2 cups of whole wheat
flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1 cup of
unsalted natural peanut butter, and 1 cup of
skimmed milk.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat the oven to 190 °C. Grease cookie
sheets. Stir together the flour and baking
powder; set aside.
2. In a medium bowl, mix together the peanut
butter and milk. Stir in the flour mixture until
well blended. Turn out dough onto a lightly
floured surface and knead until smooth. Roll
out to 1/4-inch thickness and cut into shapes
using cookie cutters. Place 2 inches apart
onto the prepared cookie sheets.
3. Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven,
or until lightly brown. Remove from cookie
sheets to cool on wire racks.
DIRECTIONS:
7 ~10 min. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C and line a baking
sheet with parchment paper.
